Meet Sara

Sara is a vocal coach, singer, and songwriter with 30+ years of performance experience, and 4+ years of as a vocal educator.

Currently, you can find her performing throughout the New York area as a featured vocalist with Lavender Light Gospel Choir and her self-titled project. Most recently, she has appeared with incredible artists like Davone Tines and ADEVA, and performed at iconic venues like Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

She studied vocal jazz performance on scholarship at the University of North Texas, where she collaborated with artists like Johnaye Kendrick, Josh Nelson, and Sara Gazarek.

Sara is in the process of completing her Advanced Vocal Pedagogy Certification with Sonaura Voice. Through this program she is learning about the latest findings in vocal science to help her students grow their vocal technique efficiently and healthfully. She is expected to graduate of the program in December 2026.
