Sara is a dedicated music educator with over 3 years of experience teaching voice students.

She works with students to develop vocal technique that allows them to confidently traverse through different styles of contemporary music, like jazz, pop, rock, folk, and more!

With Sara's guidence, students explore music through vocal technique, music theory, and ear training to uncover what they love about music so they can develop their artistry with purpose, in a fun and supportive environment.

As a teacher, she helps students set goals and build a plan to reach them, while growing the musicianship skills that make them a confident collaborator. Passionate about breaking stereotypes, Sara also empowers singers to lead bands and collaborate boldly with other musicians.

Sara Finkle is a soulful vocalist with a rich, warm tone and a laid-back style that blends jazz classics with a touch of contemporary flair. Whether she’s swinging through standards, putting a fresh spin on a modern tune or sharing her original music, her performances are heartfelt, engaging, and always strike a chord with the crowd.

Sara writes haunting songs about her life experiences with raw honest lyrics and emotion-driven harmonic landscapes.

You can catch Sara performing in the New York Area with Lavender Light Gospel Choir as a featured soloist and section leader, or as her self-titled original project.

Sara studied vocal jazz performance on a music scholarship at the University of North Texas, where she collaborated with renowned artists such as Johnaye Kendrick, Josh Nelson, Sara Gazarek, and Joseph Curiale on original compositions and jazz repertoire.
